Leinster prop Andrew Porter has signed a new IRFU deal to keep him at the province until 2025.
The former St Andrew’s man, who was an influential part of Ireland’s November success after moving back to his original position of loosehead, has notched 40 international caps by the age of 25.
He made his Leinster debut back in 2016 and has racked up 82 appearances in blue.
The news comes as a big boost to both Leinster and Ireland as Porter’s positional change has allowed both province and country to field a dynamic frontrow featureing him, Rónan Kelleher and Tadhg Furlong.
Porter is the second high-profile Leinster prop to sign an extension of late after Furlong recently also committed his future to the RDS.
