World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev admitted the US Open final against Novak Djokovic was the most important match of his career. Medvedev, 25, saw off Djokovic 6-4 6-4 6-4 in the US Open final to lift his maiden Grand Slam title and prevent the Serb from winning a record 21st Grand Slam and from becoming the first player since 1969 to win all four Majors in the same year.
