Former doubles world No. 1 Rennae Stubbs was impressed by the competitiveness and fighting spirit Rafael Nadal showed during the Australian Open final. Nadal, 35, was down by two sets in the Australian Open final but he recovered to beat world No.2 Daniil Medvedev 2-6 6-7 (5) 6-4 6-4 7-5. Nadal missed out on multiple chances to win the second set as he was twice up by a break and then also blew a 5-3 lead in the thie tie-break.
