Former seven-time Grand Slam champion John McEnroe is happy to see Novak Djokovic returning to action this week in Dubai. Djokovic, ranked at No. 1 in the world, wasn’t allowed to compete at the Australian Open because the Australian authorities thought that allowing the Serb to compete unvaccinated would send a wrong message. After getting deported from Australia, Djokovic spent a few weeks in Belgrade, where he took his time to process everything what happened in Australia and mentally recover.
