Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev admits he didn’t play on the level needed against No. 4 seed Rafael Nadal. Medvedev, seeded at No. 1, exited the Acapulco event after Nadal claimed a 6-3 6-3 win over the Russian in the semifinal. Nadal failed to convert any of his two break points in the second game but claimed the first break of the match in the fourth game. Nadal, the 2020 Acapulco champion, then held on to his serve the rest of the set to win the opener. After winning the first set, Nadal started the second set with a break. Medvedev had chances to get the break back but he blew four break points in the fourth game and also missed out on seven break points in the sixth game.
