West Ham are in the hunt for a striker, and have landed on Bayern Munich youngster Joshua Zirkzee, who would reportedly command just a small fee.The Hammers were tracking a number of strikers in the January window. They failed in their attempts to sign Darwin Nunez due to a lack of time to get the deal over the line.
The need for a striker is evident for a number of reasons, not least because Michail Antonio is the only recognised senior striker in the squad.
What’s more, Jarrod Bowen, a winger, has outscored the Jamaican international so far this season. Antonio has scored nine goals in the campaign thus far and has failed to hit the net in his last seven outings.
