Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has revealed which two Premier League rivals were hoping to sign him last summer.Sancho left Manchester City in August 2017 to get regular game time elsewhere. He went on to join German outfit Borussia Dortmund and became a Bundesliga star.
The attacker managed 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games for BVB, leading to rumours of a Premier League return.
United soon became the frontrunners to complete a deal with Dortmund, although it took a while. After entering talks over Sancho’s capture in 2020, they announced his signing the following summer.
