Russia’s appeal against Uefa’s decision to suspend all its teams and clubs from its competitions has been rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The Football Union of Russia had asked for the decision – which included the expulsion of Spartak Moscow from the last 16 of the Europa League – to be waived pending the outcome of a full hearing.
