Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has stated that she would “still rather be myself than anyone else.” It hasn’t been easy a couple of days for Osaka as she didn’t have a memorable campaign at the Indian Wells Masters. Osaka, who captured her first Masters title in Indian Wells four years, started her campaign in the desert by beating 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens in the first round. In the following match, Osaka was heckled by a fan from the stands as Veronika Kudermetova claimed an upset 6-0 6-4 win over Osaka.
