Newcastle brought in Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon in January and could add another big-name midfielder to their ranks this summer, according to a report.Guimaraes was one of Newcastle’s top targets heading into the winter window. They went on to secure his signature for £40million, with the Brazilian penning a long-term contract on Tyneside.
Guimaraes, 24, made his Newcastle debut against Everton in the Premier League on February 8. Eddie Howe’s side won that game 3-1 to boost their survival hopes.
Howe gradually eased Guimaraes into the team with several substitute appearances. He then opened his Magpies account in a 2-1 victory over Southampton on March 10.
