A transfer insider claims Antonio Rudiger will demand a massive signing-on fee to join Manchester United from Chelsea as a free agent this summer.The German’s contract expires at the end of the season. That means Chelsea run the risk of losing him to a Premier League or Champions League rival, and receiving no transfer fee.
It would be a huge blow to Thomas Tuchel, who has played Rudiger 42 times already this season.
The centre-half has formed a solid partnership with Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen at the back. But he could leave in the summer, alongside Christensen, leaving Tuchel to search for potential replacements.
