Tottenham have been told why Valencia loanee Bryan Gil is now showing the form that inspired them to fork out £21.6million for his signature last summer.The winger was heralded as a top signing when he arrived from Sevilla after an impressive loan spell at Eibar last season. However, things did not work out under Nuno Espirito Santo and then Antonio Conte.
Gil was shipped back to Spain in January, joining Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli out of the door.
Spurs, in turn, brought in Dejan Kulusevski on loan and Rodrigo Bentancur on a permanent deal from Juventus.
