Stephen Warnock has urged any potential suitors to be wary of signing Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford this summer, with Tottenham strongly linked.The Toffees splashed out £30million to sign Pickford from Sunderland back in 2017 and he has gone to make 189 appearances for the Goodison Park outfit in all competitions.
But despite being England’s No.1, Pickford is often criticised for his erratic on-field demeanour.
That has not stopped Spurs boss Antonio Conte being a fan. Indeed, the Daily Telegraph reports that the Italian wants the 28-year-old as a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris.
Warnock, however, is clearly not a fan after watching Pickford ship four goals against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The Sky Sports pundit said: “I wouldn’t want to play in front of Jordan Pickford. I’d be thinking please be quiet. The way he’s acting, the way he goes about things, he’d drive me insane!
