Antonio Conte has seen all he needs to see from Pierluigi Gollini, with a report hinting a new Tottenham goalkeeper will be signed next season.The Italian goalkeeper, 27, was signed to provide back-up to Hugo Lloris last summer. The Atalanta stopper arrived on an initial season-long loan, though Spurs do have an option to turn that deal permanent.
However, according to Football Insider, the decision has now been made to ignore that route.
The online outlet states Spurs boss Antinio Conte has ‘not been impressed’ to the level of wanting Gollini signed permanently.
A £13m option to buy was widely reported at the time of Gollini’s arrival. However, Football Insider claim that option is in fact an obligation.
Regardless, Gollini won’t reach the requisite number of appearances to turn the move permanent anyway. …
