Man Utd and Liverpool have converged in the transfer market with both clubs chasing the signature of Rangers wonderkid Rory Wilson, per a report.Wilson, 16, is one of the hottest prospects Scottish football has produced in recent memory. The striker is on the books at Rangers and has already netted 40 goals this season in the club’s youth ranks.
According to the Daily Star, the reigning SPL champions are understandably keen to tie their teenage sensation down to his first professional contract.
However, Wilson is reportedly ‘set to reject’ that proposal. Instead, he wishes to follow in the footsteps of fellow Scot Billy Gilmour and sign his first pro deal south of the border in England.
