Celtic have reportedly held ‘talks’ with promising young Bayern Munich midfielder Christopher Scott over a potential Glasgow switch.The 19-year-old is currently locked in discussions with the Bundesliga giants over extending his existing contract, which is due to expire in a few month’s time.
Bayern are said to have an option to activate a clause that will extend the deal. However, Scott wants regular first-team football – which throws a potential spanner in the works.
And according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg (as cited by footballscotland), Ange Postecoglou’s side have expressed an interest in youngster.
The report adds that Brentford are also keen and could challenge Celtic over a summer deal.
Scott, who is of Ghanaian descent, made his professional debut for Bayern in a 1-1 draw with Union Berlin last April.
