Liverpool have struck an ‘agreement in principle’ to sign Fulham ace Fabio Carvalho this summer, and the two clubs are both keen to avoid a tribunal, per a report.The Reds came close to signing the Portuguese-born attacker in January. Fabio Carvalho completed a medical and an £8m transfer fee was agreed. The deal’s terms would’ve seen the 19-year-old return to Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.
However, time ran out before the finishing touches could be applied. That meant Carvalho remained on Fulham’s books for the final six months of his contract. It also left Liverpool vulnerable to the deal being hijacked.
