Cavan 2-10 Tipperary 0-15
Two goals from attacker Paddy Lynch were key as Cavan held on to win their first national senior title at Croke Park since 1952.

Conor Moynagh, who played the ‘quarterback’ role for Cavan, opened the scoring but Tipp were soon ahead through Conor Sweeney (free) and Mikey O’Shea.
