Newcastle United have made Robert Sanchez their new top goalkeeper target after seemingly being forced to move on from Bernd Leno, according to reports.Although Newcastle are trying to curb expectations for their first summer transfer window since their Saudi-backed takeover, they are expected to make some signings. One area on their agenda to strengthen is the starting goalkeeper berth.
That is currently occupied by Martin Dubravka, who has been fairly reliable for them. But the 33-year-old could be phased out for a new number one next season.
There are several targets who could fill the role. According to The Sun, one of the latest options they are considering is Brighton shot-stopper Robert Sanchez.
