Liverpool are willing to make Mohamed Salah their highest-paid player, but both parties remain a long way off agreeing terms, a report has claimed.The 29-year-old is almost at the end of the penultimate year of his Anfield contract, with his future still unclear. While he has been in talks with his agent and the Reds for some time, the parties have failed to reach a significant breakthrough as yet.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reiterated again on Monday that he is just happy that “the decisive parties are talking”.
