Nottingham Forest have already been told by Manchester United that James Garner will be returning to Old Trafford this summer, TEAMtalk understands.Midfielder Garner has impressed during what is a second loan spell at the City Ground, having also spent time at Watford. Indeed, the 21-year-old has scored four times in 38 appearances for the club in all competitions.
We understand that Forest had already enquired with United about Garner coming back – whether they were promoted or not. Steve Cooper’s men are currently fifth in the table, eight points off automatic promotion.
