Donaghy, who has experienced knee problems of late, had trouble negotiating the undulating terrain to the extent that Hatton took over his own bag carrying duties at times during the final round.
“Mick is really struggling with his knees. He is going to go home and see a doctor and find out what the next step is for him. He said he would do (the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head) and I just said, ‘there’s no point stressing it out any further’.
