A recommendation has reportedly resulted in Juventus joining Manchester United in the race to land Antony, one of Erik ten Hag’s favourite stars at Ajax.The right winger has been in great form this season, notching 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. That includes strikes in the Champions League against Dortmund and Sporting.
Antony, a nine-cap Brazil international, has helped Ajax go top of the Eredivisie table and reach the final of the Dutch cup.
They will come up against PSV in the KNVB final on Sunday evening. After the match, there are hopes Manchester United could announce ten Hag as their next boss.
Bringing the highly regarded coach to Old Trafford may give the Red Devils the edge when it comes to signing Antony.
