Atletico Madrid captain Koke has bizarrely defended his side’s unsavoury behaviour during their Champions League clash against Manchester City, pinning the blame on their opponents for the tunnel fight which followed.City are through to the Champions League semi-finals for a second successive season after standing up to a brutal night in Spain. Leading 1-0 from the first leg, Diego Simeone’s side threw everything at City, almost literally, in a bid to claw their way back.
