Liverpool have made contact with the representatives of Aurelien Tchouameni and are ready to rival Real Madrid for his signature, claims a report.The 22-year-old Monaco midfielder is building a solid reputation in Europe and is on the shopping list on a number of teams. Real Madrid have been following the France international and were favourites to land the player.
Manchester United under new boss Erik ten Hag have also been linked with Tchouameni. In fact ESPN claimed that Tchouameni is a man that Dutch boss Ten Hag has placed on his wanted list this summer.
But United and Madrid will not have it all their own way and Jurgen Klopp has pushed Liverpool officials to make a move for the player.
