Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha reckons Erling Haaland should choose to join the Red Devils instead of local rivals Manchester City.The Daily Mail claim Pep Guardiola’s side have struck an agreement with Haaland over personal terms. He is willing to join City this summer, as long as they can sort out a transfer with Borussia Dortmund.
The Norway forward will take home over £500,000 a week as part of the deal. He will therefore become the highest earner in the Premier League, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin de Bruyne.
The transfer is not finalised, although it is close to being sorted. Guardiola remains coy on the subject, though, repeatedly saying he cannot comment on Haaland’s future.
