Pundit Trevor Sinclair reckons Manchester United showed ‘arrogance’ when they refused to sign Erling Haaland in 2020 – with the striker set to star for rivals Manchester City next season.Haaland has completed his medical ahead of a transfer to the Etihad this summer. City have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over the 21-year-old, which will see them pay £51million for his signature.
Pep Guardiola’s team just needs to sort out personal terms with Haaland before the move can become official.
This issue could be made more complicated by the recent death of Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola.
