Charlie Savage, the son of former Leicester star Robbie Savage, has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester United.Savage, 19, has been with the United Academy since the age of nine. And the club have confirmed he is now tied to United until June 2025, with the option to extend the contract for another year.
Savage senior also started his career at Old Trafford. He signed as a trainee and played in the 1992 FA Youth Cup-winning side before signing professionally. But he never played a game and left for Crewe in 1994, before making his name at Leicester.
Savage junior made his senior debut in December against Young Boys at Old Trafford.
The teenager has represented Wales at Under-17 and Under-19 level. And last season made 23 starts for United’s Under-1 …
