Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign a World Cup centre-back who has been outstanding for his country in Qatar.RB Leipzig and Croatia star Josko Gvardiol has been in supreme form throughout the tournament, leading his country to a semi-final clash with Argentina after they stunned Brazil in the last eight.
Gvardiol’s form has seen a host of clubs sit up and take notice, with Premier League trio Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham also keen, along with the likes of Bayern Munich.
