France star Benjamin Pavard has put Manchester United on red alert after reportedly telling Bayern Munich that he wants to leave the club.The World Cup winner joined Bayern in a £35million deal from Bundesliga rivals Stuttgart art in 2019 and has predominantly played as a right-back during his time at the Allianz Arena, despite his preference to feature more centrally.
Juve’s signing of Mattijs De Ligt also meant Pavard was pushed even further away from playing in his favoured position and now the Frenchman has decided it is time to try his luck elsewhere, as reported by Metro.
The 26-year-old has 18 months to run on his current deal in Bavaria. That effectively means this coming January and next summer are the best opportunities for the German side to recoup a significant fee for the player.
