Burnley and Netherlands attacker Wout Weghorst has emerged as a shock loan target for Manchester United, as their search for a new striker continues.Weghorst, 30, is currently on loan at Turkish outfit Besiktas, where he has impressed in scoring eight goals in 16 appearances.
The 6ft 6in forward’s latest strike came in a 2-1 win against Kasimpasa on Saturday. And after the game he appeared to wave goodbye to the Besiktas fans.
It is understood there is no break clause in the loan from Burnley, so talks would involve all three clubs.
