Man Utd have not included a key clause in their move for Wout Weghorst which Fabrizio Romano claims is done, and two higher profile strikers labelled ‘attainable’ have emerged as summer targets, per reports.Once it became apparent Manchester United did not have the cash to splash this month, a cost-effective loan signing became the order of the day.
Dutch international Wout Weghorst emerged as a surprise target at the beginning of the week. The 30-year-old was on loan at Turkish side Besiktas from Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.
A move therefore required Man Utd to jump through a few hoops. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is now ‘complete’.
