“I think it’s an error, or corruption”
Joe Rogan has insisted that Tyson Fury benefitted from either ‘error or corruption’ in his win over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.
Despite being knocked down twice by Wilder, the Gypsy King secured victory with an 11th round TKO to retain his WBC heavyweight belt and end what has been a thrilling rivalry between the pair.
However, UFC commentator Rogan has alleged that referee Russell Mora gave the Brit a ‘long count’ and suggested that he might have panicked, but also that corruption might have occurred.
“The referee is supposed to go ‘One two…’ when the guy goes down. But if for any reason he has to interrupt the count… you’re supposed to pick up the count where the ringside counter has it,” he said on the Joe …
