Former Chelsea and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson thinks that a top Stamford Bridge star would jump at the chance to quit the Blues and move to Anfield, if they offer him more game time.
Conor Gallagher enjoyed a superb loan spell at Crystal Palace last season, leading Chelsea to believe that he would be able to become a first-team regular when he returned to the club in the summer.
However, things have not quite panned out as the Blues had hoped, with Gallagher scoring twice in 35 games so far this term. That is in stark contrast to the 13 in 39 outings he scored for the Eagles.
