‘I’ll knock him out if that fight happens.’
Tyson Fury has promised to deliver a ‘swift knockout’ when he faces Dillian Whyte, after the WBC ordered the mandatory fight between the two, reports the Independent.
Whyte was made the mandatory challenger after beating Alexander Povetkin in a rematch earlier this year, making him the number one contender to face Fury after the Gypsy King’s victory against Deontay Wilder in October.
And when questioned about the prospect of facing his fellow Brit on the ‘Behind the Gloves’ show, the reigning WBC champion vowed that he would knock Whyte out.
He said: “How many days has he been my mandatory? One! So welcome to the big GK [Gypsy King] world.

“I’ve known Dillian a long time, we go back a long way and he’s improved a lot over the last few years.
“But the outcome will always be the same, I’ll knock him out if that fight happens.”
