Two ‘senior’ Manchester United players reportedly came to blows in training at Carrington on Thursday which forced interim boss Ralf Rangnick to curtail the session.After last Saturday’s 4-0 mauling at Brighton Rangnick gave his squad four days off. The German coach labelled the showing at The Amex a “humiliating defeat”.  
“It was a terrible performance. From the first until the last minute it was not enough; we can only apologise for this performance and a humiliating defeat,” said Rangnick after the game.
But things at Manchester United must have been simmering away within the squad in their time off, because “a full-on scrap” took place, according to The Sun.
There is no suggestion which two players were involved but the headline referred to the pair, who “had to be pulled apart” as “senior stars”.
