Tommy Fury has explained away his father’s chaotic behaviour at his KSI fight press conference last night – saying it ‘must have been the red wine’.
The gathering descended into mayhem when John Fury erupted and began flipping tables and shouting after KSI questioned the boxing credentials of his son, Tyson.
KSI and business partner Logan Paul – who will fight Dillon Danis on the same night – both criticised the Furys and it was enough to send John over the edge, cutting Paul off mid-way through his speech and shouting.

When asked if he had anticipated his father’s explosion, Tommy said: ‘No, definitely not, I didn’t see that coming.
‘It must have been the red wine that must’ve hit him and then he just got into it.

His son explained jokingly that it ‘must have been the red wine’ that caused the outburst
‘But, at the end of the day it’s all fun and games, hyping up the fight, so it was good, I enjoyed it.’
KSI was heard mocking the Gypsy family.
John stood and declared that ‘the Furys are the best fighters in the world’.
He continued: ‘The Furys dominate. We are the best men in the world. We will fight anybody in our way.’
KSI retorted: ‘Why is Tyson Fury ducking Oleksandr Usyk then? Why is he ducking Oleksandr Usyk?’
Usyk and Fury looked in line to contest an undisputed heavyweight title fight on April 29 but the latter’s camp pulled out of negotiations.
The Ukrainian’s promoter claimed Fury was ‘scared to fight’ and he apparently made a list of unfair demands, such as wantng a 70-30 split of the purse.

Fury admitted he may retire after his crossover showdown with Francis Ngannou, set for late October – which would abandon the possibility of an Usyk fight.
But in response to KSI’s question about Fury ‘ducking’ Usyk, John was furious.
He snapped: ‘Full of s***. Full of s***. Shut up ‘mother******. Come fight me now instead of talking all this bull**** about people’s f****** b*******.
He continued: ‘We are fighting men. My son [pointing to Tommy] will fight him now [pointing to KSI] and then fight anyone else who wants it. Now, lets get the f****** ball rolling.
‘Get the cake and shove it up your a*** hole before I do it. All these little f****** kids. I am a machine. Me! Can anyone question who I am here? I will take them’.
John finished by knocking the microphones over and flipping his table before kicking KSI’s table over too.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer was furious and jumped to his feet to square up to Tommy’s father.
As a result, both Tommy and KSI’s support teams swarmed to the centre of the stage to engage in a mass brawl. Security rushed in to prevent the two teams from causing any more damage.
John Fury has a history of rage, once gouging a man’s eye out over a 12-year feud over a bottle of beer. He served four years of an 11-year sentence that he was handed as a result.
