The second game has started and Saurav Ghosal has taken a huge 9-1 lead against his Hong Kong opponent. 

India’s Saurav Ghosal has started his men’s squash semi-final Hong Kong’s Lueng Chi Hin Henry in. He comes up with some brilliant slice and is leading 7-2

The final hooter is blown! And with that India have defeated South Korea 5-3 to enter the final of the men’s hockey competition. They are just a win away from not only the gold medal but also a berth in the 2024 Olympics

Less than a minute remains in the semi-final match with India still leading by 5-3 margin!

India have taken a 5-3 lead ! Abhishek continues his great form as India again have a 2-goal cushion in the semi-final match!

Meanwhile, India have defeated Thailand 54-22 in a Kabaddi women’s team Group A match

The fourth quarter has started! India are still leading 4-3 against South Korea. Meanwhile, Germanpreet Singh has been shown the card. For the next few minutes, India are down to 10 men! 

Another goal from South Korea’s Jung Manjae! This is some nervy time for India, who lead by only a slender one goal in  the third quarter! 

The third quarter has started. Though India are leading 4-2, the Koreans have shown promise and can spring a surprise.

India go into half-time break holding a two-goal lead against South Korea. For India, Amit Rohidas, Lalit Upadhyay, Mandeep Singh and Hardik Singh were the scorers. For South Korea, Jung Manjae scored both goals. 

Meanwhile, in Kabaddi women’s team Group A match between India and Thailand, the former team is leading 32-9 in the first half

India won its second penalty corner in the second quarter. But the execution was not right! India still lead 4-2

Amit Rohidas makes it 4-2 for India as the Harmanpreet Singh-led side execute a perfect penalty corner. India will be happy with the two-goal cushion in the second quarter

South Korea has reduced the gap further with Jung Manjae making it 2-3. India under pressure. This is turning out to be a great match so far! Jung Manjae had scored the first goal too!

It is not going to be as easy as it seems. The South Korean team has pulled back one goal in the second quarter. India now lead 3-1.

Lalit Upadhyay scored India’s third goal in the first quarter after Mandeep Singh had given India a 2-0 cushion earlier. This has been a great start with India making repeated forays in South Korea’s D. 

India have made a strong start in the men’s hockey semi-final against South Korea. In the first quarter, they are leading 2-0. Hardik Singh scored the first goal for India.

Lovlina Borgohain went down fighting in the 75kg final against China’s Li Qian. Though she bowed out with a silver medal, Lovlina was giving sarcastic smiles at the end of the bout. All five judges ruled in favour of the Chinese boxer. 

The Indian badminton duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy has entered the quarter-final. They won the third game 21-6 against their Indonesian rivals

Lovlina still trails after the second round of the women’s 75kg final. The Chinese boxer was dominant in the second round and she has won it too. Lovlina needs to pull up her socks in the final round!

It has been a tactical round with Lovlina managing to land a few blows! But she van impress only two of the five judged. The Chinese boxer leads 3:2 after the first round!

The final has started! All eye on Lovlina for a 17th gold medal!

The deciding game coming in t he men’s doubled Round of 16 match between Chirag Shetty/Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and their Indonesian rivals. Leo/Martin won the second game 21-16.

At 1:15 PM IST, Lovlina Borgohain’s women’s 75kg final against China’s Li Qian will start. All eyes would be on the Indian Olympic medallist!

The Indian badminton duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy is being given a tough fight by their Indonesian rival. The Indians ultimately take the opening game 24-22

India’s Siddarth Pardeshi has successfully qualified for the final round of the men’s 10m platform qualification round with a score of 234.55. The final will take place on 5PM IST.

In the shoot-off, the Indonesian pair shot a 20. While Ankita got a 10, Atanu could shoot only a 9! The Indian pair out!

The Indonesians shot a perfect 40 in the fourth set while the Indians could manage only 34. The scores are level 4-4 in the mixed team quarter-final.

Though the Indonesians won the second set, Indians have made a brilliant comeback in the third set. Atanu and Ankita still lead the contest.
