Manchester’s AO Arena will be the setting for a night boxing next weekend, that sees some of YouTube’s biggest crossovers step into the squared circle once again.

The line-up for ‘X Series 10 – The Prime Card’ is headlined by the double main event of YouTube giants KSI and Logan Paul.

Firstly, KSI will meet former Love Island star Tommy Fury, who’s fresh off a win over another social media star in Jake Paul, while Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, will go toe-to-toe with MMA fighter Dillon Danis in a meeting that has gone beyond personal in the build-up.

In fact, the chaos that has ensured in the run-up to both fights has eclipsed levels seen previously among these crossover fights and the anticipation for the event has now reached new heights.

Here’s a breakdown of the shenanigans the fighters have been up to as we head to October 14’s big event.

Sue you

The pre-fight promotion between Logan Paul and Dillion Danis has intensified to a point where Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal has reportedly attempted to sue the MMA fighter and has filed a restraining order against him.

The two fighters have exchanged bitter blows across social media, with Danis repeatedly using Agdal as a way of getting at his opponent.

However, it was taken up a notch last month when he shockingly posted an X-rated video of his rival’s fiancée discussing her sexual cravings online.

Danis shared a shocking video online of Agdal explicitly talking about her need for sex

The post led to the model saying she had been humiliated and was in emotional distress as the post could cause her reputational harm.

The attack led Agdal to file a lawsuit against Danis, claiming her fiancée’s opponent posted ‘despicable’ things about her more than 250 times since the bout between the pair was announced.

Danis eventually agreed to remove the post when after the organisers of his fight threatened to cancel the showdown unless he deleted it.

Posting on X (formerly known at Twitter), Danis wrote: ‘Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me. She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.

‘I will provide more details when I can, but because it’s a federal case, I can’t at this time. P.S. f*** that h*e… Nina Agdal will be called Karen Agdal till further notice.’

Paul brings up the death of Danis’ dad

Logan Paul has also sunk to new depths during the build-up to the Misfits event by mentioned the death of Dillon Danis’ father.

The pair came face-to-face during a press conference, where Paul stooped to a new low by bringing up Danis’ father’s death and his recent struggles with alcohol.

He said: ‘Your life is going down hill ever since you got kicked out of Marcelo’s gym. You turned to alcohol try to drown everything out, your dad passed away, you lost friends.’

It saw the MMA fighter hit back at the WWE star by hitting out at Paul for bringing up his recent bereavement and issues.

‘Talk about that see what happens, you say you’re not a scumbag and talk about my dad passing,’ Danis stated.

After their fight this weekend the pair have also shook on terms to an MMA bout against each other.

Caught on camera

Not to be outdone in the over the top stakes, KSI has spent much of the build-up to his fight with Tommy Fury trolling the professional boxer on social media.

His latest wind-up came in the form of digging up some old CCTV footage of a man he identifies as Fury, in an amusing altercation.

In the video, believed to be from 2020, it shows the man and two girls chatting in a room together.

KSI has taken to social media to share old CCTV footage of Fury looking to start a fight

They are soon joined by an older man, and it isn’t before long that the younger male – said to be Fury – gets annoyed and takes his shirt off to initiate what looks like a fight.

The situation is defused when several people get involved and hold the younger man back, but it hasn’t stopped KSI tweeting the video with the caption ‘What happened after you took off your shirt?’ and aimed it at Fury.

Danis has a target on his back

There’s also some outstanding beef between Dillion Danis and another fighter on the card next weekend, Anthony Taylor.

Taylor will battle King Kenny on the undercard in Manchester, but may need to watch out backstage for Danis after Taylor’s sucker punch last year.

Anthony Taylor will be on the undercard in Manchester when he fights King Kenny

The pair were involved in a parking lot scuffle after the Misfits Boxing x DAZN Series 003 weigh-ins last November, which saw Taylor hit Danis with a right hand to the face.

He later explained that the reason behind the brawl and punch was to stop Danis from being a bully both to competitors and the reporters at the events as well.

No salt for Salt

Another undercard battle at the Misfits Boxing event will see Salt Papi taking on Slim Albahar in a five-round middleweight clash.

Papi’s preparation for the fight has seen him drop the pounds and was complimented on his loss in a recent interaction with main eventer KSI.

‘Yo, congrats on the weight loss, bro!… I can tell bro, you be looking sharp. Nice!’ Is what KSI told the YouTuber at recent promotion event for the fights.

With Papi crediting a diet of salad, watermelon and chicken in helping him achieve his new slimline physique.
