Social media star Salt Papi has revealed his remarkable weight loss journey ahead of his fight on the undercard of KSI vs Tommy Fury this weekend.  

Saturday night sees some of the biggest social media stars in the world go head-to-head in boxing matches at the AO Arena in Manchester.

The main card sees the likes of Deen the Great taking on Walid Sharks and King Kenny fighting Anthony Taylor.

Then it will be Whindersson Nunes versus My Mate Nate before Salt Papi – whose real name is Nathaniel Bustamante – takes on Slim Albaher. 

Following those, it will be the highly anticipated Logan Paul match-up against Dillon Danis before the main event of KSI against Tommy Fury.

The 29-year-old weighed 210lbs in 2022 but he has since lost roughly 50lbs for his fight

But for the 29-year-old Salt Papi it has been a remarkable body transformation journey.

In 2022 Salt Papi, who is from the Phillipines, weighed 210lbs but he accepted a boxing debut against comedian Halal Ham. 

After impressing with his skills, he then lost around 30lbs for his next fight against fellow internet celebrity Andy Warski who he knocked out. 

After winning his next fight against MMA veteran Josh Brueckner, he suffered a shock defeat against Anthony Taylor which inspired him to lose another 20lbs for his latest fight against Slim, arguably his toughest challenger yet. 

The 29-year-old has since won six consecutive bouts against the likes of musician Tom Zanetti.

Salt Papi will be hoping to impress after boxing promoter Eddie Hearn previously called for him to turn professional. 

The fight will be broadcast live on DAZN, with coverage starting at 7pm. A subscription to DAZN currently costs from £9.99 per month in the UK.
