Jake Paul has declared that he would step in for his brother and fight Dillon Danis, insisting he would enjoy ‘taking that maggot out’.

It comes after Danis struck Logan Paul with a microphone during Thursday’s press conference, with the YouTuber then leaving the stage with blood going down his cheek.

Logan shared a photo where he has a visible swollen cheek and cut, but insists the fight at Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday will still go ahead.

His younger brother Jake, though, insists he would step in for his brother if he wanted him to do so.

He wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘I will always have my brother’s back. I chose not to respond to the puppet’s countless tweets as it would only amplify his harassment.

Logan Paul’s cut face and swollen cheekbone were clearly visible after the YouTuber was struck with a microphone by Dillon Danis

‘But make no mistake, if Logan needed me to step in, I would take great joy in knocking that maggot out. See you soon.’

Danis has since responded to Jake insisting that a fight between the pair would be ‘easy money’.

The MMA fighter’s quote appears to be mocking Logan Paul, who only just before, had made the same remark in response to Drake betting almost £700,000 on him to win by KO against Danis.

Doubts were raised over Logan’s fight with Danis following the ugly scenes that broke out on Thursday.

Danis and Paul were on stage discussing their upcoming bout, with the MMA fighter furious with some comments made about an alleged daughter of his.

The pair engaged in a verbal row before things turned physical. Danis launched at Paul and hit the 28-year-old in the face with his microphone – connecting cleanly on Paul’s forehead.

Paul was taken off stage immediately, holding his head in his hands, and Danis took to social media shortly after the incident to share a photo of blood on the floor.

However, Paul’s business partner KSI confirmed to Mail Sport that Paul was ‘fine’ and able to fight on the weekend. But, KSI – who is taking on Tommy Fury in the main event – did say that Paul was furious about the incident.

Danis had to be led away by security after the incident, while Paul left the stage clutching his head

He said: ‘I went to go see Logan and he is all good. It’s just a little bit of a bruise.

‘But he’s very angry. He’s very angry that he got hit. So yeah, Logan can’t wait to destroy him on Saturday night’.

Danis has been attacking Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal on social media, which has led to her filing a $150,000 lawsuit against him.

Paul’s fiancee has also taken out a temporary restraining order against Danis after his relentless social media jabs.
