Chris Eubank Jnr joined other pundits in trashing the official result that awarded Tommy Fury with a majority decision victory over KSI on Saturday evening.

Fury was fighting to keep his boxing career alive, confirming after the bout that he is ‘done’ with fighting YouTubers and social media influencers and now wants to focus on carving out his professional career in the sport.

Meanwhile, KSI was attempting to pull off what would have been a huge upset in Manchester as the YouTuber-turned-boxer sought to discredit his opponent’s boxing legacy with his brother and current heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury in attendance.

The six-round bout ended in defeat for KSI who landed just one less punch overall and looked on-track for victory after Fury also had a point taken away for striking the back of the head.

However, two judges deemed Fury had done enough to win the encounter, forcing a hostile reaction from KSI who felt he had been cheated out of the win.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn insisted afterwards that KSI won the six-round bout

Supporters inside the Manchester Arena booed the official decision, with pundits and promoters later coming out after the event to refute the awarding of the fight as many believed KSI should have had his arm raised in the ring.

Eubank Jnr praised KSI’s boxing ability in the ring and labelled boxing as a ‘strange thing’ while giving his post-fight analysis on DAZN.

The super middleweight contender explained: ‘I thought KSI landed the cleanest shots. Was moving better, boxing better. The points deduction was huge. Boxing is a strange thing’.

Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn – who helped put on the Misfits boxing show – stated on IFNboxing: ‘He had a point deducted. KSI won the fight.’

The boxing promoter has previously shared a frosty relationship with the Fury camp after previously failing in his efforts to line-up a heavyweight title clash between Tyson and Anthony Joshua.

Logan Paul watched his PRIME drink energy partner suffer defeat after he previously humiliated Dillon Danis in the event’s other co-main event and claimed the result was ‘bull****’.

He added: ‘I think JJ won, I don’t know how he didn’t’ before shrugging his shoulders in perplexed fashion.
