Fans have slammed Logan Paul’s fight with Dillon Danis as a ‘disgrace to boxing’ after the contest ended with a mass brawl in the ring in Manchester after the MMA fighter was disqualified.
The fight descended into chaos after MMA star Danis tried to take Paul down with a jiu-jitsu move in the final round.
Security was forced to swarm into the ring to separate the two fighters, with Paul’s corner taking to the canvas to defend their fighter. Danis’ team joined them in the ring as a mass brawl broke out.
Paul was announced as the winner after confirmation that Danis had been disqualified.
Fans on social media hit out at the contest, slamming Danis for failing to throw punches in a one-sided contest before the farcical ending.

A third wrote ‘Logan Paul vs Dillion Danis has to be the most embarrassing boxing match ever.’
Another commented on Danis’ lack of punches throughout the contest and in the aftermath, writing ‘Dillon Danis was beaten up so badly that he couldn’t even land a punch on the security guard.’
There had been no love lost between the pair after Danis had been regularly targeting Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal as a way to antagonise his opponent in the build-up to the fight.
As a result, Danis was hit with a restraining order after harassing Paul’s model partner by repeatedly posting photos of her online.
Agdal was seen entering the venue to support Paul ahead of the fight at the AO Arena.
The fight came in the build-up to the main event won by Tommy Fury over KSI via a majority decision.

Fans claimed Paul and Danis’ fight was a ‘disgrace to boxing’, although some claimed the latter had achieved his aim despite being disqualified.
‘Can we just end this misfits @danzgroup boxing it’s absolutely muck. Disgrace to boxing. Never gain will watch its garbage,’ one fan wrote.
‘I’m still gonna call it YouTube boxing, especially after this fight,’ another added. ‘This was a disgrace to the boxing sport.’
‘Dillion Danis got what he wanted out of this: clout and money. Logan Paul was handed a stylistic matchup perfectly tailored to give him a moment and he failed to deliver,’ another wrote.
