Logan Paul called out Rey Mysterio in his post-fight press conference after beating Dillon Danis in Saturday evening’s crossover boxing event.

His long-running feud with Danis was brought to a dominant conclusion as Paul stormed to victory, winning all six rounds of the mismatch fight before his opponent was disqualified in the final seconds.

A mass brawl ensued after the final bell with Paul’s security and his brother, Jake, entering the ring to try and stop the unsavoury scenes from spiling over.

The American has already cemented his status as an upcoming star in WWE after making his debut in the franchise two-years ago and going on to feature in Wrestlemania.

He signed a contract with WWE in April and is now targeting a championship fight against 48-year-old Mysterio.

Paul called out Mysterio for a chance to fight for the WWE US Championship belt

After labelling boxing as a hobby, Paul used his in-ring interview to target future success back in wrestling where he hopes to become American champion.

‘I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once brother and I’m coming for that US Championship. Let’s go!’ said Paul after beating Danis.

Paul was previously beaten by the Mexican at Wrestlemania 38 last year when he teamed up with The Miz against the WWE veteran and his son Dominik Mysterio.

The Mysterios successfully navigated their way through that encounter and Paul now wants a chance to fight for the US title.

Mysterio was watching on as events unfolded in Manchestr on Saturday evening and accepted the challenge put forward by the PRIME drink entrepreneur and YouTube star.

Responding on X – formerly Twitter – he said: ‘Did Logan Paul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie. Every Friday Night on SmackDown.’

Supporters were enthusiastic about the possibility of seeing the pair faceoff in Wrestling and used Mysterio’s reply as a chance to mock Danis’s performance in the boxing ring against Paul.

One reply said: ‘Guarantee you Rey Myserio will land more offense in one minute than Danis did in six rounds.’

Another added: ‘That match is already 1000 times better than this fight even without taking place.’
