Tyson Fury has admitted he is ‘nervous’ about Tommy Fury’s bout with KSI, but back his brother to knock the YouTuber-turned-boxer out in Manchester this evening.

The Gypsy King – who just finished his training camp ahead of his own crossover bout with Francis Ngannou – said he was worried about watching his ‘own blood go into battle’.

However, Tyson is confident Tommy can do the business against KSI. He explained how TNT had been ‘training really hard’ and insisted his brother was in the best shape of his life for the bout.

Speaking ahead of Tommy’s bout, Tyson said: ‘When your family’s fighting you’re always nervous. Your blood is going into battle. I’m nervous tonight. 20,000 people here.

‘I’ll always be nervous. This is not somewhere you go in like eating a packet of crisps. Anything can happen in these boxes. Tommy trains really hard, he’s in fantastic shape. May the best man win!’.

Nevertheless, Tyson is confident Tommy will knock KSI out. He said: ‘Tommy is going to knock this b*** out cold! This is beautiful for the game. These boys have done a fantastic job, it’s sold out and it’s absolutely amazing.’

The Gypsy King went on to say he could feature on a Misfits card in the future, sending the fans in the arena into frenzy. He told DAZN ‘never say never’ when asked.

Before wrapping up on stage, Tyson touched on his own fight with Ngannou. He said: ‘Let’s put it this way. If I go to the boozer in a minute and a big old lump at the bar swings and hits me he’ll hurt me, never mind an absolute killer.

‘He’s [Ngannou] gone from homeless to a world champion in six years. I’ll train as hard for his as Wilder, Klitschko, anybody. Every man has to have credit for getting in for the ring. I’ve prepared for an absolute battle royale.’
