The fallout from Tommy Fury’s majority decision victory over KSI at the Manchester Arena on Saturday evening shows no signs of going away as supporters weighed in on the controversial result.

Fury – the brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson – was deducted a point in the encounter for striking KSI on the back of the head but was deemed to have still done enough to get his arm raised at the end of the six-round bout.

YouTube star and entrepreneur KSI felt he was cheated out of the result as he wallowed in disbelief after the fight and claimed he should have been awarded victory in the boxing showdown.

It was later revealed that the official scorecards filled had been added up wrong with one judge miscalculating his verdict that should have handed Fury a unanimous decision win.

Rafael Ramos scored the fight as a draw but the round-by-round tally on his scorecard actually showed he awarded only 56 points to KSI and 57 to Fury.

Fury was awarded the fight after winning via majority decision following six rounds of action

The scorecards for Saturday night’s KSI vs Fury bout revealed a miscalculation – Rafael Ramos (right) totalled KSI’s score to be 57 when it should have been only 56

The points deduction for Fury meant even if the Manchester-born boxer was awarded the round then it would have been drawn 9-9.

That would result in him going on to win the bout 57-56 and still emerging victorious despite KSI producing a valiant effort to inflict a first professional defeat on Fury.

However, if KSI had been awarded the round then the points deduction would have given him a 10-8 score that would have ensured he would go on to win 57-56.

Now, social media critics have offered their analysis on round two of the fight that they believe was vital in deciding the final outcome.

After reviewing the official scores, one onlooker suggested the result had been ‘rigged’.

Posting on Twitter, they said: ‘So your telling me with KSI clearly winning round 2 plus the point deduction for fury they scored it 9-9 RIGGED.’

Critics believe KSI should have been awarded the victory and some want him to appeal the decision

Others made similar accusations as they attempted to trash Fury’s performance, stating: ‘Am I being soft or has point been taken off KSI instead of Tommy on round 2.’

Another added: ‘What a mess, how KSI losing round 2 to judge 1 and judge 2 is pathetic. Judge 3 miscounted and it should’ve been 57 – 56 to Tommy and not a draw. If they scored it correct, KSI would’ve won via split decision.’

Posting a tweet alongside the three revealed scorecards, another user said: ‘KSI won round 2. Two judges gave it 10-9 to fury before deduction… if the first two judges scored it properly as 10-8 then it’s 57-56, 57-56, 56-57. Sit down lil bro.’

A final comment told KSI to appeal the official result, adding: ‘What the hell is this card? Not even filling it out correctly. And Round two should be 8 for Fury. This mess alone is right for appeal KSI.’
