KSI has admitted to having no idea how much money he earns and insists he is focused on ‘creating big moment’ rather than big pay cheques.
KSI picked up his latest pay-day after locking horns with Tommy Fury at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday evening.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer was hoping to shock the world by beating Fury, but he fell short – losing via unanimous decision.
Nevertheless, KSI – who co-owns the Misfits Boxing banner that promoted the show on the weekend – is said to have made around £10million from the fight.
However, KSI told The Sun he has no idea about how much he made from the blockbuster bout on the weekend.

KSI said: ‘When it comes to numbers, I’m pretty clueless most of the time. For this fight, I don’t even know how much I’m getting paid. I don’t know. I know how much Tommy’s being paid and that’s about it.’
‘I’m not really fussed, the money isn’t the reason I do this, I like creating big moments, I like looking back at my legacy and going, “Yeah, this was sick.”
KSI went on to add: ‘I’m happy where I’m at money-wise. I feel like I’m in a good place. I’ve been doing YouTube for how many years, invested in so many things.
‘When I first started I invested in houses because I didn’t know how long this YouTube bubble would last. So yeah, I’ve made the money that I wanted to make and now I’m looking for more than that.
‘And I know after this fight I’m probably going to feel a little bit lost and think, I’m going to need something to excite me again. And just going to figure it out, whether that’s a fight with Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather, Jake Paul, whatever, we’ll see.’
According to reports, KSI’s net worth is around £20million. He is said to have accrued the lucrative total through his ventures into boxing, music, TV and YouTube.

YouTube was his main source of revenue when he started out in the influencer world. Since starting up his own channel, KSI has received 24 million subscribers and around five billion views.
As a result, KSI – who is actually called Olajide William Olatunji – is earning around £250,000 per video – according to The Sunday Times. However, he appears to have no idea.
KSI is not the only boxer to give full control of his finances to someone else. George Foreman, Ricky Hatton and Carl Frampton also trusted those close to them to handle their money.
However, they all regretted their decision. George Foreman was forced to return to boxing after suffering a $5million loss due to some poor investments. Foreman’s return to the ring was vital to prevent him from going homeless.
Meanwhile, Hatton was taken to court after Billy Graham claimed he was still owed money after being sacked in 2008. Hatton was shocked by the news and questioned who had pocketed the money.

Graham accused Hatton’s father Ray of short-changing him. As a result, Hatton cut off his dad – only making amends with the 72-year-old in February 2019, nine years after the incident.
Frampton was another boxer who handed over control of his finances. Something he regretted at a later date. Frampton decided to sue his former manager Barry McGuigan over the alleged non-payment of up to £6m in purse fees, broadcasting rights, ticket sales and merchandising during their partnership.
However, McGuigan told the High Court during their hearing that he never stole, siphoned off or concealed money from Frampton during their eight-year relationship.
The pair have now settle their legal battle, with Frampton claiming he was ‘extremely happy’ with the outcome. While McGuigan said that his family ‘can now move forward’.
