Tyson Fury says Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom stable has ‘gone down the toilet’ and claims the only time they can get publicity is when they talk about a Battle of Britain clash between him and Anthony Joshua.
Hearn recently came out and said the Gypsy King would make over £100million for going toe-to-toe with AJ next year. However, Fury has questioned where the 44-year-old promoter has plucked that number from.
Speaking exclusively to Mail Sport about the AJ fight, Fury said: ‘Eddie Hearn has to speak about that [a potential fight with Anthony Joshua] because his full stable has gone down the toilet.

‘The only time he gets any relevance is when he talks about Tyson Fury so if I were him, I’d talk about Tyson Fury too. The golden goose is done.
‘The fox has got in the pen and killed it, it’s over. All he talks about is Tyson Fury and that’s because it’s the only way he will gets publicity.
‘But, I told them in December, this is the final opportunity you guys are ever going to get to fight me so take it today or don’t. And they didn’t. So, they’re out in the cold. Frozen.’
Fury and Joshua had been locked in talks over a Battle of Britain bout last year but discussions broke down after the Gypsy King grew impatient waiting for AJ to sign the contract.
Fury decided to move on from Joshua and secured a bout with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. While, AJ fought against Robert Helenius after his bout against Dillian Whyte was cancelled due to the Body Snatcher’s failed drugs test.
However, Hearn is adamant a fight between the pair will happen after Fury fights Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed title fight on December 23 and AJ takes on Deontay Wilder early next year.
The Matchroom promoter has also stated Fury and AJ will make over £100m each for the Battle of Britain clash if they can both beat Usyk and Wilder in their respective fights.
When asked whether the money would change his perspective on fighting AJ, Fury told Mail Sport: ‘I’m not sure who is going to give us the £100m each. Who is going to pay it. Eddie Hearn hasn’t got it. Eddie Hearn ain’t got it.
‘Eddie Hearn ain’t got 20per cent of that. So, who is going to pay us the £100m each? If he does know someone who is going to give us £100m each then give us a call.’
The Gypsy King finished by saying: ‘I will just add that £100m to the other £200/£300m I’ve already got.’
