Bitter rivals Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall are finally set to meet for a rematch more than two years on from their controversial world title fight.
The pair will face each other in Leeds on April 27 in a super-lightweight encounter at the First Direct Arena.
Taylor was undisputed world champion when he was awarded a contentious split-decision victory over the Chorley fighter in Glasgow in February 2022, despite being put down in the eighth round.
The Scot subsequently relinquished his titles, mostly out of the ring following mandatory orders, before losing the WBO belt and his first professional bout against Teofimo Lopez in June last year.
Catterall has since beaten Darragh Foley and Jorge Linares and a rematch against Taylor has been postponed several times, most recently because of a foot injury for the Prestonpans fighter.

The pair have continued to trade insults on social media and the contest will now take place on neutral territory in West Yorkshire.
‘I’ve never run from anyone in my life, especially not Jack Catterall,’ 33-year-old Taylor said.
‘He has spent the last two years running from promoter to promoter while living off my name. Jack should be careful what he wishes for because he’s getting battered on April 27. I am going to enjoy every second of this.’
Catterall, 30, said: ‘I’ve wanted this fight since the moment the scorecards got read out in Glasgow.
‘A few people say “move on Jack”, and that’s easy to say to when you’re not in my position. I get asked every day of my life multiple times a day, “when are you fighting Taylor again?”
‘This isn’t about belts, this is personal to me, and I can’t wait to get my hands on him. I don’t like him, I don’t respect him and on April 27 I’m going to end him.’
