Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges has called out adult content star and boxer Astrid Wett to fight her on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul bout.

Tyson, 57, and 27-year-old Paul will fight on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, with the bout streaming live exclusively on Netflix.

The rest of the card hasn’t been announced, but Bridges, who is yet to fight in 2024, has put her hand up to be included.

The former IBF bantamweight champion took to social media, writing: ‘Can I beat up @AstridWett on the undercard of @jakepaul vs @MikeTyson?? I mean I’d enjoy it.’

Wett, who has fought three times against reality stars and influencers, responded to the call-out by writing: ‘Genuinely – who this?’

Wett, who has fought just three times, has much less experience than Bridges

The request from Bridges came hours after Wett called out England football great Jill Scott.

‘I think it’s about time I out my gloves back on and call out Jill Scott,’ she said in a video clip posted online.

‘Now I know she’s a little bit taller than me but I’m sure we can make it work and this would definitely sell out an arena, and a big payday for Jill too.

‘Jill Scott, you know what to do.’

If the fight takes place, Bridges would come in a huge favourite due to her talent and the fact she has vastly more experience than Wett.

Meanwhile, Tyson has started preparation for his bout with Paul, sharing footage of a training session where her unloaded on the pads.

Towards the end of the short clip, which was posted on X, Tyson turned to the camera and asked: ‘Day three. You still wanna f**k with me?’

Paul then replied on X: ‘Yes, yes I do.’

Bridges hasn’t fought since her IBF bantamweight world title loss to Miyo Yoshida in December

Tyson has not fought in a non-exhibition bout since June 2005 and has not won a professional fight since February 2003.

Paul has a 9-1 record as a boxer, with most of his wins coming against athletes that are not primarily boxers.

He has transitioned from celebrity fights against the likes of Nate Robinson and Anderson Silva to trained boxers recently, with his only loss coming to Tommy Fury, brother of Tyson.

Tyson will be 58 years old by the time his proposed bout with Paul happens, sparking fears over his safety almost two decades since he bowed out from the sport.

The former world heavyweight champion has taken part in exhibitions since retiring, most recently taking on fellow fight legend Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
